Managing Partner

Kathy Colace is the managing partner and founder of JBN & Associates, LLC. With over eighteen years of experience in recruiting, Kathy opened JBN & Associates, LLC in June 1999. Running a company whose mission is Strengthening Companies and Building Careers, Kathy is focused on developing a team of experienced recruiters who works with clients on a national basis. Kathy’s forte is working closely with CEOs of companies; learning their business and culture in order to develop an individual plan to find the right talent to help them reach their goals. When Kathy is not working on her business she loves spending time with her three grown children; JJ, Brianna and Nicole...i.e…JBN.

Community: Kathy is the current President of Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) of Arizona

Charity: Kathy currently sits on the boards of Phoenix Suns Charities, Sojourner Center Advisory Board, and Suns Nite Hoops.

Monique Porras

VP of Business Development

Monique brings over 7 years of executive recruiting experience to JBN & Associates. With her focus primarily on the client, Monique has been able to establish solid recruiting partnerships and solutions to organizations. She has always remained passionate about her clients and has fostered long-term relationships. Not to mention, her energy and enthusiasm is unmatched.

Monique grew up in the Washington, DC area, where she obtained her BA in Communication/Broadcasting from George Mason University.

An avid enthusiast for professional sports, Monique enjoys football, boxing and basketball.

Kristen Dimmick

Staffing Manager

Kristen brings over 13 years of staffing recruiting experience to JBN & Associates, LLC. She is passionate about learning about every client’s unique culture so that she can make successful placements. In doing that, Kristen establishes long-term relationships with her clients and candidates.

Kristen grew up in Birmingham, MI and attended the University of Michigan where she obtained her BA in Economics. In her spare time, Kristen enjoys traveling, hiking, running, and spending time with her family. She also is a big fan of college football and NASCAR.

Kristen believes in giving back to the community. She is a Phoenix Suns Nite Hoops Executive Board Member and she is very involved with The Sojourner Center.

Stacey Rouse

Construction & Produce/Fresh Cut Processing

Stacey has been with JBN & Associates since 2007 after previously working at Lucas Group for 4 years where she routinely achieved the distinction of President’s Club recipient. Stacey specializes in placing mid to executive level management in select industries including Produce and Construction.

Stacey has lived, worked and played across the country in Massachusetts, Texas, California, Arizona and Missouri, where she attended Central Missouri State University. Stacey’s outside interests include spending time with her family and friends, running, reading and traveling.

Suzanne Akre

Education, Healthcare & Transportation

Suzanne brings over 17 years of executive recruiting experience to JBN & Associates. She began her career recruiting in the technical arena for companies such as Motorola, Allied Signal, Honeywell, and American Express. She later joined HCR Recruiting with her focus directed toward the Pharmaceutical, PBM, and Home Care industries working both retained and contingency searches. Suzanne has specialized in Media, Advertising, Pharmaceuticals, Dental, Animal Health, Home Care, Consumer Products and Research and Development. Recruiting for her clients vertically from CEO to Clinical Sales has afforded her the opportunity to meet client's recruiting needs perfectly. Currently she is recruiting mid to executive level management in the Education & Healthcare Industry.

Suzanne grew up in Scottsdale, AZ and enjoys traveling to San Diego with her husband and two children. She loves all things basketball! GO SUNS!
